Stowe Vermont Summers

Summer in Stowe Vermont is all about cool mountain air, long sunny days, outdoor adventure, and community spirit — perfect for hiking, paddling, biking, scenic rides, festivals, and simply enjoying nature in full bloom.

Stowe’s summer calendar is lively, with festivals, concerts, markets, and community events that make the season even more fun:

Hot air balloon celebrations — like Lift Off into Summer with balloon flights and evening glow events.

Spruce Peak Summer Concert Series — live music in scenic outdoor settings.

Farmers’ markets, art shows, and community Thursdays — local makers, music, and food under summer skies.

Old-fashioned Fourth of July and other local town celebrations.

Relaxed family options:

Paddle calm waters, go fishing, or enjoy picnics and swimming at local lakes.

Visit local art galleries, craft beverage tastings, or take a yoga class outdoors.
